Ye’s recent actions have hurled him into a lot of trouble. He made some controversial comments on Twitter which caused a storm on social media. As a result, the rapper drew negative attention from all sides.
The former billionaire, in a span of 30 days, lost a large chunk of his net worth and partnerships with Multinational brands. Addidas, GAP, Balenciaga, Footlocker, JP Morgan Chase, and others terminated their relationship with Ye. Unfortunately, some of the victims of his comments were his private school ‘Donda Academy.’
Kanye West’s comments put future NBA prospects in a realm of uncertainty
Rapper, and fashion icon, Kanye West founded his own private school called ‘Donda Academy’ by honoring his late mother, Prof. Donda West. The company, Scholastic Play-by-play classics, scrapped off the games of Donda HS team from their tournament schedule. The company remarked that West’s recent actions forced them to take the step,“Unfortunately, we cannot in good conscience host an organization founded and directed by Mr. West at our events.”
Though the company disapproved of Ye’s actions and academy, they showed empathy for the players of the Donda team. “While we are firm in our reasoning for this decision, it does not diminish our heartache and regret for Donda’s hardworking athletes who will lose out the most as a result of Kanye’s actions,” remarked the organization. The Donda HS team will miss the entire upcoming tournament.
Following the announcement, enraged and frustrated fans took to Social Media to vehemently defend the innocent players. Here are some of the reactions.

Now this is ridiculous
— SuckaFreeRoscoe (@FreeRoscoe00) October 26, 2022
That’s ridiculous, it’s like saying “let’s ban Kim Kardashian to something bc she was married to him or has kids by him, let’s cancel his kids by the way” why do anyone working for him has to suffer the consequences?
