Out of all his opponents, the New York Knicks faced his wrath more often than others. This is more evident when a former Knicks coach describes watching MJ play against him.
It is safe to say, Jeff Van Gundy did not have a good experience watching Jordan. He said, “It’s like reliving a divorce. Who wants to relive a divorce?”

The game ended with the Bulls narrowly beating the Knicks by 113-111 and MJ scored 55 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds. Although Jordan was the talk of the town, Patrick Ewing of the Knicks had a great game as well.
He scored 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Sadly, Jordan stole most of the limelight as Ewing’s performance went under the radar.

Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dominated the entire NBA for an entire decade and the Knicks were one of Jordan’s favorite opponents.
