‘Love Guru’ Shaquille O’Neal Has a Four-Word Mantra for People Who Seek Love Online

Online dating apps and relationship apps have been around for quite some time now. And they have picked up in popularity over the last few years. But ‘love guru’ Dr. Shaquille O’Neal does not approve of it and he has a piece of four-word advice for anyone who seeks love online.

Over the last decade or so, there has been a barrage of online dating apps. A few like Tinder, Hinge, and others have become the mainstay, but there is a mass influx of apps every day. And this has led to a large number of people trying out such apps.

But there are still numerous people who do not believe in such apps. And there are a few who are scared of online dating as well.

Shaquille O’Neal says online dating is not real

Shaquille O’Neal and his co-hosts on his podcast were talking about online dating. And Shaq is not a huge fan of that. He talked about Nischelle Turner’s favorite show ‘Love Island‘ and about a couple on the show. He goes on to talk about how their relationship ended and how internet love is not real life.

Then the crew talks about Spice Adams, who has been married for 16 years. Shaq said that was traditional love as they met in college, stuck together throughout and got married, and had a family later. But he refused to accept online dating, as a person would meet someone randomly and end up leaving each other after a few months.

But Turner asked if someone could not find anyone in college, what would they have to do? Shaq said,” It’s called the let it happen mentality.”

The Los Angeles Lakers great said he has been around a long time and he knows that internet love is not real love. He also said that once reality kicks in, the fake love is gonna fizzle out. And he also added that the newer generation uses social media a lot to portray their love, which is not something he believes in.

It’s safe to say Shaq is not a fan of this new generation dating lifestyle. He suggests that everyone wait it out and stick to the traditional way. No matter how popular online dating gets, Shaq still won’t believe that it would work.
