LeBron James’ 2 Word Warning to Phoenix Suns Goes Viral as Chris Paul’s Team Crashes Out

Chris Paul and Phoenix Suns enjoyed a spectacular season, but everything fell apart in Game 7 against the Dallas Mavericks. The Suns’ fans were heartbroken after their team crashed out of the playoffs. Because expectations were high after the Suns finished the regular season with a franchise-best 64-18 record. It was, to put it mildly, humbling of the highest order.
Twitter is having a field day after the Suns’ blowout loss. Fans on Twitter couldn’t help but recall what LeBron James had warned them about earlier this season. During a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns, James was filmed verbally sparring with Suns guard Cameron Payne.

“You was at your crib a year and a half ago, quit talking your shit now,” LeBron said in the now and then viral video. “Stay humble now, stay humble! You was at home a year and a half ago, now you wanna pop off? Come on, don’t do that.”
The Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs. But the above footage highlights why the Suns could have faltered despite being the #1 seed.
Dallas Mavericks eliminate the Phoenix Suns
The Suns may have disregarded what James said that evening, but it’s fair to assume it came back to bite them. However, it’s not the first time we are seeing this. Multiple teams in the past have had a tremendous regular season and created all sorts of fuss. Only to be humbled in the postseason, where everything becomes challenging and unpredictable.

The Phoenix Suns had high hopes after reaching the NBA Finals the previous year. Their unexpected second-round elimination has resulted in an early offseason with several obstacles ahead of them.
LeBron James only warned them, but Luka Doncic humbled them
While LeBron James simply warned the Phoenix Suns to be humble, it was Luka Doncic who was instrumental in bringing the top seed to its knees. Doncic humiliated the Suns in the opening half, leading all scorers with 27 points. And literally matched the Suns’ first-half point total. He got plenty of support from Spencer Dinwiddie, who added 21 points of his own.
Doncic finished with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists in just 30 minutes of action. The Slovenian also broke an ankle on his way to the finish line, as his lethal crossover had Cam Johnson on the floor.
