Steph Curry has been absolutely fantastic this season. Despite not having his backcourt partner Klay Thompson so far, Curry has been playing at an MVP level.
For the season, Curry is averaging 28 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Unfortunately, Curry’s solid numbers haven’t translated into victories for the Warriors, who have had an inconsistent season so far with a 12-11 record.
Steph Curry Draft: College Career, Stats, and More
Steph Curry is currently on track to be an All-Star starter this season after missing out on the game last year. Curry spent much of the 2019-20 season on the sidelines due to an arm injury.
As a result, the Warriors missed the playoffs and ended the season with the worst record in the NBA. This allowed them to have extended rest and bring James Wiseman with the second pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Curry on a roll right now
This year, Curry’s numbers have been similar to his 2015-16 unanimous MVP season. Curry is the only player in history to be named the unanimous league MVP, receiving votes from all journalists and players for the same.
