There is no doubt that NBA stars earn massive amounts of money during their careers. Off the court, many of them go on to become shrewd businessman too. One of the biggest names that come to mind with regard to being a business tycoon, is that of Michael Jordan. After his retirement in 2003, he has only built on his legacy. In an illustrious journey spanning around twenty years, MJ became the Chicago Bulls’ best ever player. A dynamic beast from the back-court, Jordan won six NBA trophies in his time. His 14 All-star appearances and clinical performances gave him a tally of close to a billion earned via NBA salary alone. Yet, his net worth stands at over the 1 billion mark, per Forbes. And he has now made another big booming investment, alongside Milwaukee’s outlandish freak.

Courtesy of his Jordan brand, MJ is widely acclaimed in the business sphere. 26-year-old Giannis however, is still on his way. After exploding onto the scene over the past few seasons, he is slowly but surely building his own legacy. Now, he has invested in a watch brand, along with some NBA royalty. It is worth some big money, and has raised a large amount thus far.

The venture, named WatchBox, is a secondary marketplace for luxurious watches around the world. It has a team of over 200 associates, and deals with buying, selling and trading top quality time-tellers. The company recently landed a huge jackpot, and can now make up to $300 million in revenue per year. Some of its leading investors are Jordan and Giannis themselves, along with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Karl Anthony Towns and others. Totally, the company has raised $165 million so far.
