James Jordan was shot dead by two young criminals during a car robbery in July 1993. James went missing for several weeks before his body was found in a creek near McColl, South Carolina, 60 miles away from Fayetteville, North Carolina.?

Recently, Kanye West mentioned Jordan’s father’s death among other tragedies, deeming the death to be a “sacrifice.” DJ Vlad criticized West for bringing up James Jordan’s tragic death to defend himself and Irving. Moreover, he claimed to have interviewed one of the two broke teens who tried to steal James’ car and ended up shooting him in the chest.
