Millionaire Shaquille O’Neal Feels ‘Sick’ After Selling Whopping 76,000 Square Ft Orlando House to a Dentist

Shaquille O’Neal and the city of Orlando go way back. The Orlando Magic drafted a young Shaquille O’Neal and helped him become one of the greats.

Moreover, in a recent interview, he revealed he owned a whopping 76,000 square foot estate in the city. However, he sold the estate to a dentist, and he regrets his decision.

The same applies to Shaquille O’Neal. He has had one of the greatest careers in the NBA spanning 19 seasons. Apart from winning 4 NBA titles, he has many individual accolades to his name.

Interestingly enough, Shaq owned a 76,000 square feet estate in the city of Orlando. However, he sold it off.

Talking about it in an interview, Shaq said, “I just sold it and I’m actually sick that I sold it.” When asked who could afford the estate, Shaq replied, “A dentist.”

Looking at the size and grandeur of the estate, anyone would feel sad after selling it off! According to reports, Shaq bought the house in 1993 for a price of around $4 million.

However, he sold it for a price of $11 million. Interestingly enough, he revealed how this same mansion caused him problems.

After his infamous divorce from wife Shaunie, the Los Angeles Lakers legend felt lost in his own house. He said, ” When I didn’t have that, I don’t like to use the D (depressed) word, but I was lost. 76,000 square-foot house by yourself, lost. No kids… I go to the gym and their rooms, nobody was there.”

Looking back at the entire fiasco surrounding the house, Shaq made a neat little profit out of the house he bought after making his mark in the NBA in his rookie season.
