In The Perfect Find, Gabrielle Union plays a character in her forties, who falls for a GenZ coworker after a flirtatious stint. Apparently, Keith Powers literally turned out to be the perfect find for the role. Given the friendship between Union and Powers, casting Powers has enhanced the chemistry that is sacrosanct in any romantic comedy.

Moreover, Union revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that she and her NBA legend husband were impressed by how Powers and her ex-girlfriend Ryan Destiny had handled their public relationship.

Union also added that Keith Powers has a huge amount of admiration for her husband, Dwyane Wade, which made the dynamic easy to process, “It was just kind of a natural progression of a friendship that already existed, but it comes out of respect. He has an enormous amount of respect for Dwyane, I have an enormous amount of respect for Ryan, and it just made working super easy.”
