Shaquille O’Neal has earned millions from various business ventures after retiring from the league. Now, it looks like he is willing to dole some of that money out to his friend’s son. However, only on certain conditions. Shaq just gave out a contract for Spice Adams’ son given he can match what Big Diesel expects of him. However, what are the Lakers legend’s conditions and how much money will he be giving out?

On his podcast, ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq,’ the four-time NBA Champion may have given former NFL player Anthony Adams, affectionately known as Spice Adams’s son a huge incentive to perform well in his current sport.

Shaquille O’Neal gives a huge incentive

As the hosts got to talking, Adams mentioned that his son used to wrestle in Varsity. Moreover, now as a freshman, he will be going up against 18-year-old opponents who are listed at 220 pounds. A huge jump from the previous 185-pound weight category.

So, in order to push Adams’ son to win in a more challenging category, Shaq gave him something called, ‘Uncle Shaq Incentives.’ He said, “For every 18-year-old he beats, I’ll give him 500.

“And he won’t get the money until he beat four in a row, that’s 2000 Dollars. I’m not gonna keep sending him little,” added Shaq. He then went on to explain the reason why he wouldn’t just send the kid 500 Dollars after a win.

He said, “I don’t want to send him 500 and get happy. I want him to get at least four under his belt and let him get to 2000.”

Shaq upped the contract

However, Big Diesel’s offer did not end there. He upped that deal with Adams’ son to $1000 for every win he gets after getting four in a row first. So, the $500 contract goes up to a $1000 contract. Funnily enough, the conversation transpired after the Lakers legend revealed that he refused to give his youngest son similar kind of money.

The contract will incentivize Adams’ son to get as many wins as he can get. Not just to get the money and live up to the contract but also to come through on Shaq’s expectations of him. Further, Shaq dubbed the deal as the ‘Nephew In Law’ deal.

Now, let’s see if little Spice Adams puts in the effort to not let his ‘Uncle Shaq’ down.
