“Please Apologize to Your Mom for Me, I Hope She Forgives Me”: Stephen Curry’s Lack of Time Sense Forced Him Into Public Apology in 2013

Stephen Curry is a man of keen focus and discipline, yet when it comes to punctuality, he occasionally stumbles. Curry has been late on multiple occasions, whether it was for a team flight or an interview. And once, he apologize publicly in the middle of an interview for being late.
Incidentally, Steph didn’t want to be late for his training session at the Chase Center, so he purchased a Four Seasons Residence condo on the 30th floor, which was close to the Chase Center. He saved 20 minutes of his day in this manner. For the average individual, it would be equivalent to leaving home 10-20 minutes earlier in order to arrive on time. Steph, on the other hand, went over and beyond, spending $8 million to save his time.

There was an incident in the past when Stephen Curry pissed off a reporter’s mom. And as it turns out, his late arrival spoiled their family’s dinner party. Therefore, he had to apologize for his lack of time sense.
Once Stephen Curry apologized to a reporter’s mom
Back in 2013, the baby-faced assassin was admired by many, even though he hadn’t won any championships yet. Some admired him for his performance while others admired him for his adorable antics on the court. During a phone call interview with Steph, an ESPN reporter Sam Alipour opened the conversation by saying, “I was telling a friend how you’re the kind of player our moms like as much as we do. But ironically, my mom is now legitimately pissed at you because you called five hours late for this interview.”

Alipour’s mom was pissed because Steph called for the interview in the middle of his parent’s dinner party. And now Alipour was in his parent’s bedroom using their home phone. And therefore he asked. “What do you have to say to my mom?” Steph who had already apologized for being late gave his justification.
