“Please God Don’t Punish Me Like That”: Latest Ben Simmons Trade Reports Create Havoc in NBA World
The match between the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks happened last night, and the Mavericks emerged victorious in the encounter. Luka Doncic went on to dominate the entire game. Kevin Durant fell short of helping the Nets despite his brilliant performance in the absence of Kyrie Irving. The Brooklyn Nets are not really having a great start to their season. But midst of that, the fans seemed more worried about the news of the transfer of a player. The player is none other than Ben Simmons. Simmons, who came from the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this year has started to already make noise with trade rumors.
Ben Simmons got traded on February 2022 from the Sixers after playing there for six years. He was set to make his debut on 21st April against the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA playoffs. However, he got diagnosed with a herniated disk in his back on 21st March. He was unable to mark his foot on the court in that match after getting ruled out with soreness in the back. Despite all these struggles, he was finally able to make his pre-season debut with the Nets and went on to start his regular season against the Orleans. But his performance was not impressive, and the Nets have went on a losing spree recently resulting in a disappointing record.

Fans react to Ben Simmons trade rumors
Ben Simmons was unable to make any significant impact on the games he has played for the Brooklyn Nets so far. The Australian has played a total of six games averaging around 5.6 points, 6 assists, and 6.6 rebounds this season. It seems like injuries might have affected the performance of the former three-time NBA All-Star.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report, one Western Conference executive believed that the Dallas Mavericks were keeping track of Ben Simmons. The executive also said, “Dallas is a team to watch, Simmons would be an interesting fit next to Luka (Doncic) if the Nets were willing to take back (Tim) Hardaway and (Davis) Bertans.”
However, this seemed to not be taken lightly by the fans. They seemed pretty anxious about the move. Many fans commented and voiced their opinions on Twitter.

How? Luka will be primary ball handler and Simmons can’t shoot, so are you playing him at the 4 or something? Not trying to make fun just wondering your logic here.
