Even after retiring in 2011, Shaquille O’Neal has remained in the spotlight. You can find Shaq in everything, the NBA legend is an actor, a businessman, an investor, a rapper, etc. With such accomplishments comes fame, and Shaq recently revealed how he utilizes his reputation to get a good bargain. With a net worth of more than $400 million, watching the legend bargain would be euphoric for his admirers.

Off the court, the former Los Angeles Lakers great is well-known for attracting media attention as a result of his investments and spending habits.

Shaquille O’Neal opens up about his jewelry shopping

In an episode of his podcast, ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, he showed off his jewelry while discussing how he makes use of his fame to obtain deals. When asked about how much he spends on his jewelry, Shaq said he asks the price first and then says, “How much for me?” And he went on to say that if he feels like paying it, he pays; if not, he gets going.

Shaq is never short on amusing material to share with his audience. Shaq has been seen spending his money on jewelry and other accessories on multiple occasions. The NBA world will likely agree that the four championship rings Shaq has are the greatest out of all the other pieces of jewelry Shaq owns.

Later in the podcast, we hear the Lakers legend make fun of his co-host Nischelle Turner for overspending on her necklace. When Shaq asked the price of the necklace, Nischelle said $15,000 to which Shaq said, “put that little dumba** chain back where you got it from,” and further added, “you’re getting robbed”. When Nischelle asked how much Shaq would pay for the necklace, he said $1,500. The next thing we know, the co-hosts are chuckling.

The Hall of Famer is not new to the jewelry business. Back in 2012, Shaq and Zale Corp. teamed together to launch a line of branded jewelry for males. Which has its own Shaquill O’Neal collection. It includes a wide range of men’s bracelets. pendants, and rings.
