Shaquille O’Neal, Who Once Wrestled WWE Giant Big Show, Got Body Slammed by a Monstrous NBA Star

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. He might even possibly be in the top 10 players of all time. His strength, physique, and dominance on the court were second to none. It is safe to say that in his prime, he was the most dominant player in history.
Shaq was unbeatable in the paint. Around the rim, there were very few players who even thought of challenging him. Obviously, even fewer who could actually contest him. His hands and elbows worked in tandem with his body, making it physically impossible at times to stop him. But there was still one player who had stunned Shaq in his own game.
Shaq’s dominance on the court, and his massive physique piqued his interest in wrestling. He even tried that out, but there was one NBA player who actually surprisingly body slammed Shaq Diesel.

Glen Davis, who won the NBA championship with the Celtics in his rookie years, was once at a dinner. At the dinner, Shaq made it about wrestling and asked him to meet him outside. They got into the wrestling stance and probably the next couple of minutes were when Shaq was most impressed, along with being shocked.

Glen shared the incident, saying, “He’s like, let’s go outside, and then he’s like, ‘all right, let’s get down.’ So I’m in the position and I’m like grabbing him holding them and like next thing you know I slam him down like a wrestler and he was like ‘God damn! You know you’re a big a** kid’ And so that’s how me and his relationship really started. Big motherf*****.”

While Shaq was already one of the biggest legends in the NBA, his stint with wrestling wasn’t as historic. He wanted to try wrestling and actually did make a few appearances in the WWE. One of the most famous ones is the match-up with WWE giant Big Show.

Not only that, but Shaq made another appearance on the WWE against the same opponent, this time in a much more dramatic fashion- a surprise entry, and an intense stare-down.

Shaq has been involved in multiple WWE events. He made his WWE debut way back in his playing days. Although he never really stayed in WWE, he surely gave fans many moments of entertainment. And beating a guy like that? Glen can surely take a lot of pride in that.
