Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have reached the NBA finals. This will be their 6th final in 8 years, which is a feat in itself. The team has been in tremendous form. And for those who thought the Warriors ‘dynasty’ is over, this season was proof that it wasn’t the case. All of the roster has proven that they have shown class and character. Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all turned up all season.

Curry and the Warriors are on the course of the possibility of winning their 4th NBA title in 8 years. They will play the Celtics in the finals. The Boston Celtics team is not to be taken lightly. They will definitely make it tough for the Dubs. However, Stephen A. Smith not only puts the Warriors as favorites but also makes a prediction of them winning another title in at least the next two seasons.

“I’m willing to say the Golden State Warriors are winning two of the next three titles,” said Smith. “I believe Steph Curry will eclipse LeBron James and capture five championships in his career, while LeBron is still stuck on four.”

While the prediction or one might say the claim from Stephen A. Smith is a bold one, but not too far-fetched. In reality, this can be an actual possibility.

A contrasting comparison between Stephen Curry and LeBron James’ season

It would be harsh not to give credit to LeBron for playing his heart out in order to help his team get to the postseason. Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t the Lakers’ year as a team. Safe to say their time wasn’t right and they could not give justice to LeBron’s 30.3 points per game average in his 19th season.

The Warriors are still on the rise as this season was proof. Whereas LeBron James, let’s face it, wasted his 19th season as a professional basketball player because his team did not do well. The rebuilding of the Lakers might take a couple of seasons at least. And LeBron might be playing his very last season by the time the Lakers are a powerhouse again. So the possibility of Steph Curry winning two more rings is practically more than LeBron winning another one.
