Scottie Pippen achieved tremendous success alongside his teammate Michael Jordan under the guidance of head coach Phil Jackson. However, he has not had the best of relationships with MJ. Recently, he shed light on the challenges that arose within the Chicago Bulls organization towards the latter part of his time with the team. In an interview, Pippen also discussed the potential for a reunion with individuals associated with the Chicago Bulls organization.
Scottie Pippen sat down with former teammate Stacie King and opened up about his time with the Chicago Bulls. He talked about everything from his relationship with Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson, to his role in the docuseries The Last Dance. He also answered whether he is open to joining hands with his former teammate and coach in the future.

Scottie Pippen expressed dissatisfaction with the way he was treated by his former head coach and went as far as labeling Jordan as “selfish,” despite acknowledging Jordan’s immense basketball prowess.
When asked about the possibility of reuniting with former team members, Scottie Pippen firmly stated, “No. Stacey, you’ve been around Michael. You’ve been around Phil. I just, you know, their egos are huge, and I don’t bow down to people like that.”

Pippen explicitly expressed his disinterest in collaborating with Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson in any capacity. This standpoint was unexpected, considering the significant achievements they had accomplished together in the realm of basketball. Despite Phil Jackson’s remarkable coaching success and numerous NBA titles, he failed to earn Pippen’s respect. However, Pippen specifically noted that King didn’t mention Michael Jordan’s name. In response, King explained that he has been unable to secure Jordan as a guest for his podcast, stating that Jordan is perceived as too prominent to appear on the show. Pippen emphasized the difficulty of reaching Jordan, joking that one would have to go through 100 people before getting to the five-time MVP.
