But this off-season, the young guard and the Warriors veteran Draymond Green got into a physical altercation in practice that shocked the NBA world.

The two stars of the Warriors, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole got into a physical altercation with each other in practice last week. The viral video of Green punching Poole in the jaw broke the internet and caused mayhem among the Golden State fans.

The media outlets reported that during a practice session when Green and Poole were playing against each other, things started to get heated. The two were trash-talking each other and getting physical on defense. It is reported that after Poole said something to Green, he immediately lost it and started charging toward the young guard. Draymond would then punch Poole in the jaw after the latter would shove him a little. Players and coaches in the facility came to break apart the fight and separate the two players.

Klay Thompson addresses the Draymond Green and Jordan Poole drama

The 4x NBA champion and veteran forward Klay Thompson, in a Q&A session, gave his reaction to the whole situation. Thompson remarked that the incident was unfortunate. He remarked, “Violence is never the solution to anything, especially between teammates. But we are moving past it.”?

“We know that winning cures all, and that ring night will help soothe the pain from a tough couple of weeks,” he added.

Thompson revealed how the entire team got together afterward to talk with them and resolve the situation. He said the team has moved past it and focuses on the season ahead. Klay also sang praises of the young guard Jordan Poole and noted that he was excited about his extension. “JP is like my little brother. I want what is best for them. I’m very excited that JP got extended. He earned that.”
