The Celtics honored Garnett as they retired his number 5 jersey. Garnett is a Hall of Famer. The 2008 NBA champion also has the 2003 MVP award to his name. Among many other honors, he is also a part of the NBA 75th Anniversary team which was announced during the All-Star event of 2022. He played for 3 franchises, namely Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets, in his 21 years in the NBA. Kevin Garnett won one championship while he was in Boston. In conclusion, he is a Boston Celtics legend.
