The Lakers are flying high. They are now 6-0 on the road, a rare and stupendous feat to achieve at the beginning of a season. The whole unit is pumped up after beating the Rockets twice with huge margins. After their demolition of the Wall and Harden (formerly) led franchise, LeBron James’ men faced their next test in the Oklahoma City Thunder.
To say LeBron is on fire will be an understatement. He turned 36 just a couple of weeks ago and is playing like he wants generations to remember him for the next 360 years. The boy from Akron showed similar aggression against the OKC early in their game.

The Lakers had a dominant start against the Thunder. They were already 14-4 ahead when LeBron showed that he was at the peak of his confidence.
A block on Isaiah Roby and a precise assist from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope gave him an opportunity to make an unguarded dunk. He grabbed the chance and made a dunk so strong that its sound would have scared off the opponents for a brisk moment. Take a look –

The Lakers took the first quarter 30-21, thanks to the 12 points coming at the hands of Anthony Davis. AD, with his pullup jump shots and deep two-pointers, looked scary since the first few minutes of the game. LeBron, on the other hand, bagged 4 points as he played for just 6 minutes in that quarter.
The Lakers’ L-Train hammered OKC in the second quarter
Bron is coming off a great game against the Houston Rockets. One of the highlights of that game was the no-look three-pointer from LeBron that brought out the Stephen Curry in him. The 4-time NBA Champion continued that form as he took the Thunder by storm in the second quarter.

He entered the game for AD and made triple three-pointers to take the Shai-Gilgeous led Thunder by surprise. He added another 11 points to his total tally and assured his fans that it is yet another game where the legend will put on a great show.
By the time the first half ended, the Lakers had a convincing lead of 12 points. The game looks firmly in their control unless the Thunder pull off an extraordinary performance in the second half.
