It is safe to say that LeBron James is a one-of-a-kind superstar. There have hardly been any players in NBA history who have displayed back-to-back MVP caliber performances despite being in the nineteenth year of their career. Furthermore, the Akron Hammer is showing no signs of slowing down, both physically and mentally.

LeBron looks as sharp as ever on the court and he is arguably the best player in the league right now. He is third in the league in scoring and without him, the Los Angeles Lakers would be a lottery team. Despite that, LeBron looks as motivated as ever. He has also stated that it is his dream to play with his son one day.

Going through nearly 20 years in basketball does take a mental and physical toll. Unless you are of a sound mind and have a killer motivation, it is highly unlikely you will succeed. But in LeBron’s mind, he believes he still has that same fire he had when he was a rookie.

LeBron recently appeared on the season premiere of The Shop. Here, he was asked, even with all the awards and fame and money, who does he still do it 19 years later. To this LeBron answered, ” Its just in me man, I love competing, I love winning, I love just like, playing the game. Cause, I mean at some point, I ain’t gonna be able to play no more. Well, at that level. So sh*t, why not like, I’m trying to squeeze as much juice as this motherf***ing orange as I can”
