Former Cowboys Fan LeBron James Hurls “Guys Were Kneeling” Accusation at Jerry Jones and Co

LeBron James was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League since 1997. But what happened that he had to abandon his Cowboys fandom? The NBA and the NFL are two of the most popular sports leagues in the United States. Not just ordinary people, but also celebrities, are fans of the two sports. LeBron has recently shared the reason for abandoning his fandom and accused the front bench of the Cowboys.
On 28th October, LeBron posted a tweet saying, “NFL Fans, I got something special coming for y’all!! Announcement coming on IG Live at some point today!” Just hours after posting the tweet, LeBron came to Instagram live with Maverick Carter.

There, they talked about the NFL and many other things. At one point, Carter asked LeBron about his fandom with the Cowboys.
It all started back in 2017, when Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, made a clear rule for his players to stand up during the National anthem or don’t play.

Answering the question, LeBron said, “Nah man, I had to sit put on the Cowboys man. It just things that were going on when guys were kneeling… [The] organization were like if do that around here you won’t play for this franchise again.” LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates kneeled during the national anthem in 2020. And at the time, there was a lot of rage among people.

However, in 2017, the Dallas Cowboys kneeled before the national anthem. But after that Jones made it clear to his players. That he didn’t want them to kneel. Jones gave his explanation on the incident and said, “We know that there is a serious debate in this country about those issues, but there is no question in my mind that the National Football League and the Dallas Cowboys are going to stand up for the flag. So we’re clear.”
