It’s been a week since Charles Barkley did a u-turn on his social media stance and popped up on Instagram officially. Therefore his frenemies at TNT took it upon themselves to educate the social media amateur. The issue; they’re not to be trusted. Enter the most reliable Internet tutor Chuck can get.

Nev Schulman, the host of MTV’s Catfish, pledged his commitment to keep Barkley out of Internet trouble. “Giving my guy Chuck a couple defensive pointers so he doesn’t get Shaqfished. #OnlyFans,” Schulman wrote on Instagram. It complemented a never-before-seen photograph of both of them.

Barkley and Schulman seemed to have met once on a flight. They were discussing something on a phone then and it just thematically fit the situation.

Charles Barkley does need the Catfish expert against the seasoned social media aficionado, Shaquille O’Neal. He nearly got Chuck to make an OnlyFans as soon as he got on Instagram. And he’s nearly got Barkley sliding into DMs.

Nev Schulman needs to get in touch with Sir Charles ASAP. His miseducation continued on Inside the NBA this week. While Kenny was honestly trying to teach him, Shaq was up to no good.

Charles Barkley gets “Shaqfished”

Shaq tried to teach him some Internet terms which Barkley was nearly convinced are true. Some of the highlights include ‘Algorithm’ is short for “Alabama Gogo Rhythm” and ‘Finsta’ is “Instagram for Finland.” Moreover, Barkley posted a Story behind the scenes of “Shaq’s teaching me social media y’all.”

Chuck discovered that there’s a phenomenon called ‘Instagram Live’ in the otherworldly realm of social media. He however nearly fell for Shaq’s fake instructions and turned off his phone instead of hosting a live. Kenny Smith once again saved him, introduced that thing on the phone called a front camera, taught him how to record with a lot of impatience, and do a quick live. O’Neal tried to prevent Kenny from helping him at every step. This was generous of ‘The Jet’ right after he discovered Chuck followed and unfollowed him.

Barkley had said that his new Instagram page is for business purposes related to his brand, Redmont Vodka, and will be run by experts. His first attempt to record a Reel is on his page though and it’s not too shabby.

It’s glaringly obvious though that he desperately needs a comprehensive tutorial from Nev Schulman. After all, Shaq has been lurking in social media waters a lot longer than Chuck.
