Desperate Charles Barkley Assures Caitlin Clark of Undying Support With Strong Confession

Caitlin Clark became a nationwide sensation after the NCAA tournament. While she is considered to be a strong candidate for the major league because of her game, Clark’s feud with Angel Reese added fuel to the fire. Since then, she has been making headlines and Charles Barkley recently gave a shoutout to her.

Sir Charles talked about Caitlin on the recent episode of his podcast with Ernie Johnson, The Steam Room. Barkly stated that he wished to meet her someday.

He said, “I wanna give a shoutout to the women of Ole Miss in South Carolina. And I didn’t forget about you, Caitlin Clark”. Barkley has been trying to meet Clark for a while now but unfortunately, his busy schedule isn’t allowing him to make that time for the trip. However, he said that he would stay true to his promise and make that happen soon. “I’m trying like hell Caitlin to come and see you in person. I’m really trying. Between the All-Star game and all this other crap”, Barkley continued. The NBA veteran also said that meeting Clark is a problem also because of where she lives.

He said, “You are in the middle of nowhere Caitlin in fairness. It’s hard to get there. But I wanna see you play in person. Caitlin Clark you’re amazing”.

Charles Barkley called the Clark-Reese controversy ‘unfortunate’

Their feud during the NCAA tournament was the biggest thing in the world of sports. Every major celebrity had something to say and Sir Charles couldn’t stay away from the drama either. However, his words were rather harsh, continuing with his style of not mincing the words when he speaks his mind. Barkley said, “Well, I thought it took away from the game. In fairness, Caitlin did that in a game before. I just thought it brought too much attention away from a great performance because she’s amazing”.

Barkley also gave some pushback to the people responsible for making this into something bigger than what it was supposed to be. He said, “And you got all these fools on the internet and on television, who, well, first they gonna make it about race, which is part of it. They deserve to celebrate. I thought it was unfortunate because people are talking more about that than they are about a great performance.” Barkley was clearly impressed by their performances, and almost a year later, he is yet to see Clark and watch her play in person.
