Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most recognizable faces in the NBA today. Famous for his utter dominance on the court, the LA Lakers legend has taken that domination off court as well. With an estimated net worth of $400 million the big man is one of the richest NBA personalities today. Inching ever closer to becoming a billionaire the center has multiple business ventures off-court. Although the proud owner of various businesses, Shaq has become well known for his role as a TV analyst on TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’ too.
Appearing on the show alongside Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnosn, the quadruplets have become world renowned for their antics on live TV. During their many appearances on screen the group have displayed humor and knowledge of basketball to grip audiences worldwide. Having once risked his life for pleasure on the show, Shaq recently threw Barkley under the bus only to honor his godfather.

Shaquille O’Neal threw a 76ers legend under the bus to praise his godfather
During an episode of the ‘Today Show’ in February of 2020, the entire cast of ‘Inside the NBA’ were invited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show. With all four men donning their most expensive suits. Shaq, Ernie, Kenny and Charles were all present as they were congratulated on the show’s immense success. The long-standing analytics show has become a favorite amongst basketball viewers, with millions tuning in to watch the four legends.
Giving credit to the freedom of expression they had, Shaq believed that the use of humor is what gave them their success. Explaining it further the big man threw Charles under the bus as he stated. “Like if you look at this four. You probably think Charles is the funniest and I am the second funniest, you’re wrong.”

Continuing his statement Shaq revealed that his ‘godfather’ Ernie Johnson was the “funniest man in the world.” Although E.J acted surprised Kenny and Charles chimed in concurring with the 4x champion’s statements.

Shaq risks his life for pleasure during ‘Inside the NBA’
‘Inside the NBA’ has become the go to show for Basketball fans around the world. The cast members go above and beyond to make sure that their audiences have a gala time.
With Shaq and Chuck’s banter knowing no boundaries it came as a surprise to most when Kenny Smith almost took out the big man during one episode.
