Five-times NBA champion Dennis Rodman’s daughter, Trinity Rodman believes that the player had a significant part in her career.

Trinity is all set to make her FIFA World Cup debut this year. She was selected as the No. 2 choice in the Washington Spirit and the youngest player to be drafted into the NWSL. She has won the Rookie of the Year in 2021. In 2022, she inked one of the most significant contracts making her the highest-paid player in the league. Kobe’s words encouraged the professional soccer player

In a recent interview, the 21-year-old soccer player spoke about her experience with the legendary player, Kobe Bryant. She also shed light on the impact he had on her career. She played on the same soccer team as Kobe’s daughter Natalia Bryant.

Trinity recalls how the player always had words of encouragement for her. Just like other players, she was influenced by his Mamba mentality.

Trinity said, “He was an amazing human, And again, he made it very clear that women are capable of being as successful, if not more successful, than men. And I, for some reason, remembered that. But yeah, that changed my entire mindset moving forward with soccer.”

She added, “I think his mentality was the difference in how he was as an athlete, but his mentality on and off the field as well as creating connections and being humble within”. She further says. “I think he was very humble about the fact that he was a GOAT and he’ll always be a GOAT for me.”

According to her, he will continue to inspire her as she heads for the most significant chapter of her life.

Kobe’s Mamba mentality inspired Devin Booker

Kobe’s mentality has inspired the next generation of basketball players. One of them is NBA player Devin Booker. During Kobe’s last game, he signed, “Be Legendary” on his shoes and gave them to Booker. For the Phoenix Suns player, those words will continue to inspire him.
