Stephen Curry is not the only Chef in the family. Ayesha Curry has made her mark in the food industry. Not only has she written two NY Times best-selling cookbooks, she launched a multi-million restaurant chain alongside celebrity chef, Michael Mina. ‘The International Smoke’ has a fancy menu that has attracted a lot of visitors over the years. Well, Dwyane Wade decided to make good use of it.?

As a part of his, ‘When We Gather’ movement, the Miami Heat legend chose a few of his best wine flavors to add to Ayesha Curry’s decorative menu. Although the menu is designed for just one day, Steph’s wife ensured that Wade gets a good promotion for his business.?

Dwyane Wade shared the pictures of the one-day menu, which had combos of Ayesha’s dishes along with Wade’s wine. The highlight of this collab was not just the menu, but a surprise visitor that Wade brought in.?

Why did Wade decide to start a wine business??

On his first visit to Napa Valley in 2014, Dwyane Wade decided to start ‘Wade Cellars’. 4 years later, the wine was available for purchase within the United States. Apart from the fact that he has a love for the drink, Wade wants his wine to be accessible to many more.

To make that happen, he believes, ‘When We Gather’ is the way. Last month, Wade collaborated with a famous Diner in New York.

A month later it is the Curry family and ‘Point God’ Chris Paul who contribute to the cause. Clearly, D-Wade’s post-retirement ventures seem to be finding good success. This program is expected to continue for a much longer period considering Wade’s desire to make wine more accessible. He has also joined the Executive Board of the School of Viticulture and Enology at University of California Davis to support innovation in the industry.
