What happens when you find yourself in some place, performing an act that you know you didn’t do? In today’s digital world, everything people do and say is for attention on social media. Digital marketing companies have become so important in today’s world that everything in the public sphere revolves around brand management and social media interaction. Top sports organisations like the NBA, NFL and others don’t have a choice but to adapt to this phenomenon as it brings in more people to the games and is better for the overall business. A similar incident was brought to light as James Harden realised the nuances of the digital world the hard way. Recently, a fake photo of the 34-year-old in the Philadelphia 76ers locker room went viral. And it was not pleasant.
