Warriors veteran details going broke

Joe Smith has recently been the talk of the town. It all started from his wife’s OnlyFans account revelation and then everything began to spiral down from there. Over the last few weeks, Smith has made several media appearances to talk about his life. While at the beginning of his career, Smith was considered among the best talents in the league, sadly it couldn’t translate into an on-court success. He was the 1st round first overall pick in the 1995 draft by the Warriors but couldn’t really make it big in his career. However, he did manage to bag over $61 million in career salary.

Recently, he has been in the news for reasons outside of his NBA legacy. During a recent conversation with DJVlad, Smith talked about being broke and going into debt following his retirement. He said that he has lost a lot of money in real estate and expensive cars but his divorce was the breaking point. The 48-year-old said, “That’s what really cost me. The divorce.” Smith said that most of his retirement money went into the divorce settlements. He said he lost close to $3 million during the divorce, and was left with little money after the dust settled.
