“Wish me luck!” The Houston Rockets star added the caption to his tweet. In that post on X, Vernon Maxwell displayed a screenshot of him applying for the role of Public Address Announcer. That too for the team, which he has long-standing hate for. “Thank you for your interest in the Public Address Announcer at Jazz Basketball Investors LLC. We have received your application and the Hiring manager will be reviewing it shortly. You will hear from us regarding the next steps soon. Thank you and have a wonderful day!”
The recruiting team of Jazz sent the message to the 2x NBA champion as he applied for the role. As per Glassdoors, the average salary one can expect in such a role is between $57K – and $104K/yr. If we compare his NBA earnings, his rookie year contract was $100,000 and $1,000,000 towards the fag end of his career. Thus garnering close to $13 million in wealth as per Basketball Reference. But mind you he is not serious about the current job profile.

Vernon Maxwell and his hatred for a Heat guard continues
“The people out there, they abused me. Talk about my mama, my grandma, talk about the stillborn; they call me the N-word.” Making an appearance on the Rex Chapman Show, Maxwell talked about various interesting topics from his career and touched on Utah Jazz fans, explaining his reasoning behind the beef and why he won’t ever let it go. He has expressed a similar feeling for another franchise and player recently.
Apart from trolling the Jazz fanbase, the Miami Heat and Tyler Herro are on the radar of Mad Max. “2-game suspension for Amen. 25k fine and no suspension for the instigator MGK. The league has never liked Houston and they must have a thing for skinny white kids that can’t rap.” Yes, Vernon Maxwell referred to Herro as MGK and continues to do so.
