Well, that didn’t go well with Kevin Garnett and he decided to roast his former teammate back. KG added, “Your early years, you had curls, don’t forget that. You thought you was in NWA, I remember your a** used to look like Ice Cube,” comparing Pierce to legendary rapper O’shea Jackson. Here is the clip of the duo arguing over their casting assignments.

When not on the show, the duo continues to engage in entertaining banter online. Their comradery has carried over from the locker room well into retirement. In fact, just a few months back, Garnett shared a 20-year-old story of his NBA best friend’s embarrassing moment.

While dominating the game, Pierce hilariously became the victim of Artest’s mischief. In a resurfaced clip from that game, Pierce could be seen overpowering the Pacers and Artest. However, when Artest could no longer bring the game under his control, he tried to play a mind game on his opponent.

As seen in the clip, Artest tried to pull down Pierce’s shorts. Nevertheless, the Truth was unfazed by his action and continued to dominate. Despite the distraction, he ran across the court to successfully drop a three-pointer. Garnett shared the clip on his Instagram story as well.
