Curry played for the Davidson Wildcats for 3 seasons before entering the league. In those 3 years, Curry’s impact on the team was quite obvious. He established himself as one of the best shooters in that time-span.
In his freshman year, he contributed 21.5 points per game, but it was just the beginning. Over the next 2 seasons, he kept on improving, and by his final year as a college player, he finished the season averaging 28.9 points per game. Despite his scoring outburst, Curry was not predicted to be a Top-5 lottery pick in his draft class.
