The Baltimore Ravens looked like the best team in the NFL this season. That is, before their divisional playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs. With the frustrating loss at hand, head coach John Harbaugh is under fire. And Lamar Jackson‘s comparisons to Tom Brady are on point!

At the M&T Bank Stadium, the home of the Ravens, they couldn’t get the desired result. And former Super Bowl-winning head coach with the New York Giants has taken the entire game plan of Harbaugh in his crosshairs.

Lack of Tom Brady in the house

The Ravens could not take a lead once in all four quarters. Their defense was penetrated easily, and their offense looked a non-starter. While Patrick Mahomes weaved his throws around the defensive line, Jackson could not do the same. And head coach turned analyst Rex Ryan had some choice words for the plays.

“This is the stupidest game plan, I’ve ever seen”, said a frustrated Ryan on ESPN. Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator for the Ravens, had been praised by the media and fans, throughout the season. He too, was not saved by Ryan’s wrath!

“You don’t have Tom Brady, do you realize that?”, asked Ryan to Monken through the camera. “Your quarterback is Lamar Jackson and not Tom Brady”, the 61-year-old former HC exclaimed. Though he did not question the integrity of Jackson, he questioned the game plan to utilize him for the job.

Lamar Jackson can’t do it all

Jackson, the 27-year-old QB, is still at the top of the list to earn MVP honors for the regular season. However, his lack of adaptability was on display against the Chiefs. Though Ryan judged it to be a case of improper planning, Jackson could not improvise either. A trait that Mahomes has displayed all through the postseason.

Brady was famous throughout his career for dropping deep and then throwing unmistakable accurate passes. Jackson, on the other hand, is a ferocious rusher and scores his points through running hard. But against the Chiefs, he had been dropping back, but was unable to launch the ball like Brady.
