The Dolphins quarterback signed a four-year rookie contract worth $30,275,438 with the team which included a $19,578,500 signing bonus alongside it, per Economic Times. The entire sum remains guaranteed, meaning he earns an annual salary of $7,568,860. His draft was overshadowed by a serious injury concern, which saw his overall pick drop from first to fifth.
