In a recent tweet on X from Dov Kleiman, insights on the reason behind the trade of Chase Young were made public. Referencing the news back to the reporter Michael Silver, the update expressed how the Pass-Rusher was traded to the 49ers because of his lack of discipline. He had been commented on as someone who “developed bad habits,” per the reporter.

The newsman also suggested that Young was going out of plans to make ‘splash plays’ or get a hit, to add to his individual statistics. And those are some serious accusations, indeed! The tweet and the surfaced news remain a clear indication of how matters have not transpired in the best manner for the DE during the trade because of impending concerns.

The tweet further highlighted how the player needs to be on his A-game for the rest of the season. By doing so, he’ll allow himself a chance at a big contract and clear up any recently soaring doubts, even “as a pending free-agent” toward the end of the year.
