Travis Kelce gets into rhythm once more, between the white lines and in the boardroom. Along with the Chiefs’ 5-3 record and Kelce rounding back into mid-season form, he’s also accelerating a business career that looks less like an athlete dabbling in ventures and more like a media and ownership empire in motion. This latest move has nothing to do with stadium cameras, concerts, or sideline chatter, so to speak; in fact, it’s all about entertainment and business.

A new trailer titled “Thermal Buzz” has just dropped, starring Jason Kelce, brother of Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The short film is part of a creative collaboration set in the Predator: Badlands universe, marking another crossover between sports and pop culture. The film will be released on November 7. In the trailer, we can witness Jason, along with former Eagles lineman Beau Allen, as they stomp through the jungle, fighting with the predators.
The short opens with Jason saying, “Garage Beer saved my life.” It’s a perfect homage to ’80s action. Jason calls it a nod to childhood movie nights and the original 1987 Predator.

It’s a perfect way to put the spotlight on Garage Beer, the fast-rising light beer label that Jason and Travis have backed since mid-2024. The numbers behind the brand are just as remarkable as the teaser. Since the Kelces took stakes, volume has jumped more than 400 percent.

Durational Capital has stepped in as a major investor, pushing Garage Beer’s valuation to around $200 million. The company’s revenue is projected to hit $60–70 million this year, a sharp rise from under $20 million just a year ago. The Kelce brothers aren’t merely lending their names to the brand — they’ve become its personality. Their mix of humor, authenticity, and relatability has made them the driving force behind Garage Beer’s growing appeal.

As CEO, Andy Sauer summed it up: ”It’s always-on with them.” It’s inspired by a Braxton Brewing favorite; it relaunched under new leadership and smart capital less than three years ago in Ohio before spreading nationwide. Now, with organic energy and a Hollywood crossover, it has become something more than a product.
Beyond the Field: The expanding business blueprint of Kelce
Kelce’s portfolio is an interconnected ecosystem he’s built while still dominating Sundays. His footprint in entertainment begins with New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with Jason. With guests from Brad Pitt to LeBron James to Taylor Swift, the show has become one of the most influential cultural crossover platforms in sports.

After their show won Podcast of the Year in 2024, the Kelce brothers took another leap by signing a three-year deal with Amazon’s Wondery, reportedly worth over $100 million, cementing their place as major media figures.
Beyond the mic, Travis Kelce has ventured into business with 1587 Prime, a Kansas City steakhouse co-owned with Patrick Mahomes, and holds equity in Six Flags alongside Jana Partners.
Taken together, Kelce’s moves reveal a deliberate pattern. He’s investing in community, not just capital. His ventures go beyond personal gain, setting an example for athletes seeking to extend their influence beyond the field. Kelce isn’t just preparing for life after football, he’s redefining what athlete entrepreneurship can look like.
