“Cost Us”: Jordan Love Blames Himself For Interception as Green Bay Packers Experience A Heartbreak

The Packers–Niners game took an unfortunate turn after Jordan Love threw two picks and Anders Carlson added to it by missing the kick. The Packers’ post-season dreams have come to an end and there is a long, disappointing flight ahead of them. Despite the Packers giving it their all, the 24-21 loss has surely upset the quarterback.
He came in the presser and addressed the loss to the Niners, and just like every remarkable leader, he took the blame upon himself. A notable thing is how before this game, Jordan Love only threw 1 interception in the last 10 games he played. But the Niners got the best of him and forced him to throw two picks in this game.
The QB was asked about the last minute of the play where he threw the ball and was intercepted by the Niners. The reporter asked him whether he’s had a chance to look at the pictures and whether he thinks he could have thrown the ball out of bounds or could have run for a first down. Mulling on his mistakes, the QB mentioned how he hadn’t looked at the pictures and gave his thoughts about the question.

“I haven’t looked at it yet. I haven’t looked at any pictures, so, you, looking back on It year, throwing it away I don’t know if I had an opportunity to be able to run, maybe get out of bounds but, force it across the middle late, which is a mortal sin, and, you know, it cost us.” Said Love in response to the reporter.
Apart from Anders Carlson missing the kick, Dre Greenlaw stole the ball twice from the Packers and is being considered by many a mistake on Jordan Love’s part.
Here’s how Dre Greenlaw decimated Jordan Love and the Packers
Greenlaw became the star of the show when he scored 8 tackles and two interceptions throughout the game. When the 49ers’ offense was flailing, he made sure that he stole the ball every chance he got. A couple of posts from the NFL’s account on X show what really happened in the game.

One of those picks came in the third quarter when Love tried to sling the ball to Tucker Kraft, but overthrew it. Greenlaw didn’t waste the opportunity and returned the ball to Green Bay’s 48-yard line in no time.

The pick in the last moments of the game was a cardinal sin as far as quarterback play is concerned. Love tried to buy some time by running to his right, in an attempt to pass to Christian Watson, who wasn’t open. Greenlaw swooped in once again and made it the last throw that the Packers would make this season.
