After the high-octane game against the Los Angeles Rams last week, the Detroit Lions are back at it again. With everything on the line against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional playoff round, the Lions have received a piece of shocking news. The dependable left guard Jonah Jackson might not come back on the field!

After a cagey first quarter, both teams were level at 3-3. The Lions took an early lead in the second quarter, thanks to star QB Jared Goff. But their defense might be shaken after this setback!

Currently, the nature of the injury sustained by Jackson in the second quarter is unclear. But the sideline reports coming in from the game are not good news for the Lions.

It was later revealed that Jackson sustained serious issues with his left knee and has been declared out. Though it did provide a scare to the Lions fanbase, their defense held on even in the clutch moments.

With this emphatic 31-23 victory over the Buccaneers, the Lions have managed to win consecutive playoff games for the first time since 1957. They are currently the only team left in the NFC that hasn’t ever been to the Super Bowl or won it.
