Despite a quiet passing game by Josh Allen, RB James Cook stole the spotlight with a career-high 179 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Cook’s exceptional performance made him the first Bills player since 1991 to achieve over 200 scrimmage yards with both rushing and receiving touchdowns in a single game. Cook was at his best day as a pro and later stated, “I just let it rip when I get my opportunity.”

Another highlight was the million-dollar first-quarter sack. The team’s early aggression paid off with a sack on third down by DE Leonard Floyd to force a Dallas punt. The Bills also took advantage of critical Cowboys penalties, converting them into two touchdown-scoring opportunities. Even with a late touchdown by the Cowboys, the Bills maintained control, scoring touchdowns on three of their first four drives.

The Bills’ defense was effective, limiting Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to 134 yards and intercepting a pass. Despite a late touchdown by the Cowboys, their 10 points matched their season low. The game ended in a 21-point shocker from the Bills.
