Randi Mahomes made a new move in San Antonio, it wasn’t on the field—it was at Silverhorn, where fashion and football shared the spotlight. It wasn’t just a golf tournament; it was a rally cry for Texas athletes, led by women who know exactly what it takes to raise champions. And at the heart of it all was Mama Mahomes—bringing glamour and grit to a cause that’s bigger than the game. For years, the annual fundraiser is more than tradition. And this year, with the NFL mom standing alongside them, that mission got a powerful new spotlight.
Karen Grace, known as @newzdiva on Instagram, dropped a fashion-meets-football moment that turned heads. “We’re talking about fashion on the field with these two beautiful matriarchs of football,” she captioned, alongside a photo with Loreal Sarkisian and Randi Mahomes. The backdrop? San Antonio’s Silverhorn Golf Club. It wasn’t just about style—it was a private fundraiser with a purpose: supporting young Texas athletes. Randi chimed in with a “❤️❤️” in the comments, while Karen teased her upcoming interviews with both women, set to air on SOCIETY with Karen Grace on KCWX TV and in Boerne Monthly Magazine.

But what exactly was happening on that fairway? The event was the 13th Annual ACP Football Booster Golf Tournament and Mimosa Mile & Lunch—Antonian’s one and only fundraiser of the year. First announced on February 11, the event highlighted powerhouse speakers Loreal Sarkisian and Randi Mahomes. Loreal, the First Lady of the Texas Longhorns, took to Instagram to reflect on the event’s meaning and celebrate the powerful women behind it. She captioned, “Honored to have partnered with @randimahomes and an incredible group of football moms for the @antoniancollegeprep Preparatory Golf Tournament! Grateful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful event. P.S. @randimahomes was styled by myself for this event 🥰”
Now, why all the buzz? Because ACP isn’t your average high school. Antonian College Preparatory High School, home of the Apaches, has built a Texas-sized legacy in athletics. We’re talking 59+ championships, over 100 college commitments, and four Henderson Cup titles. The fundraiser was a call for the entire community. Moms, players, coaches, and alumni all showed up, as seen in the pictures posted on Facebook.
Yes, the photos were elegant and the fashion flawless. But let’s look beyond the sunglasses and stilettos. We see two women who were championing young athletes, Loreal and Randi.
The former, Loreal Sarkisian, is a true fashion icon. She brought her signature style and strength to the event, not just as the wife of Texas Longhorns Head Coach Steve Sarkisian, but as a presence all her own. The fashionista is known for turning gameday into a runway. Alongside her, Randi Mahomes offered a raw, heartfelt perspective drawn from years behind the scenes of NFL superstardom.

Randi Mahomes is paving her path—here’s what she’s doing
The fundraiser is not the only time that Randi Mahomes has made the news in recent days. She seems to be creating her legacy, putting an end to being just the mother to Patrick Mahomes, the NFL superstar.
In April this year, Randi made a bittersweet decision. She sold the home where the Kansas City superstar grew up. Randi listed the home for $285,000, a place packed with laughter, hard work, and dreams. Patrick Mahomes even once called the house his childhood space.
The next chapter involves the Sports Parents Academy business to help athlete moms. It is an online course and playbook geared to help sports parents survive and thrive while raising their athletes. Randi’s been candid about the lessons she’s had to pick up along the way and with this new project. As she said on Instagram, “After months of praying, planning, and putting my heart into this… Sports Parent Academy is coming to life.” She’s ready to guide others through the wins, the hard lessons, and everything in between.
