Tank Dell Creates Texans History With More Records in Sight After a Terrific First Half Performance

The Houston Texans crushed the Arizona Cardinals 21-16 today at the NRG Stadium in their home ground. While the young QB CJ Stroud has registered two TDs. Tank Dell and Singletary also managed to produce one each at the culmination of the first half. During the proceedings, Tank Dell managed to break some records and is on his way to breaking some long-standing records as well.

Rookie Tank Dell is at the cusp of breaking history with an astonishing record that lurks in hindsight. The Texans have secured a much-needed wine and are sitting comfortably at the second spot in the AFC South. The Texans have now got their hands on a better chance to secure a spot in the playoffs in the ongoing NFL season.

The swashbuckling 24-year-old Tank Dell has made the tremors felt with his exceptional performances throughout the regular season. The WR has broken a record in terms of securing receiving yards and touchdowns and is on his way to becoming a legendary rookie for the Texans, as he is just on the cusp of surpassing one of the legends himself. Tony Holzman shared the update on X. The post stated “Tank Dell has the most receiving TD by a rookie (6)” in the team’s history.

Also, the young find is just 62 yards from the all-time Texans record for most receiving yards by a rookie. The record now stands with the legend Bill Groman and has stood the test of time from the 1960s. The records are meant to be broken, and this time it may as well be the turn of a rookie to hold the baton once again after a gap of more than sixty years.

The Texans have got their hands on some fresh talent in the name of Dell and Stroud for sure. The long-term vision is showing really good results when it comes to performing as they step their feet on the gridiron. As the Texans have now decimated the Cardinals, they still have seven games left to go in the ongoing season.

Their next three battles will put their new brigade to the test for sure. The Jaguars, the Broncos, and the Jets are sitting right around the corner to put the strengths and weaknesses of the Texans to the absolute test. If the Texans do manage to produce the same performances for just a month, nobody can stop this talented team to the football ground.
