With the postseason fast approaching, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for the Bengals to turn the tables as they face the Cleveland Browns tomorrow. Amidst a season surrounded with certain injuries, no wonder, the QB was standout in week 15. And to clear things up, the Bengals’ HC, Zac Taylor, has already confirmed that the QB will be available for the week 16 clash against the Cleveland team.

But before moving forward, let’s talk about the injury updates for the Bengals. As per the news coming from the Cincinnati locker room, Orlando Brown Jr., Alex Cappa, and Charlie Jones are still questionable for tomorrow’s game. The offensive tackle had suffered a fibula injury and already missed key games so far. On the flip side, Cappa and Jones have their share of injuries as they’ve suffered concussion and groin injuries, respectively.

And the tension does not end here for the Bengals as Sam Hubbard (knee), Tanner Hudson (knee), and Sheldon Rankins (illness) are already ruled out of the game. As a matter of fact, no wonder the QB has to prove himself amidst all the workload. Once Again!

However, when asked if any injuries could impact the workload, coach Taylor has made it clear that they would not. Well, the fans can take a sigh of relief and only believe that the HC has some weapon to reduce the QB’s workload.

Tee Higgins: Joe Burrow’s weapon to reduce workload

Truth be told, it would not be wrong to say that the injuries have been swirling around the team ever since the beginning of the regular season. And Tee Higgins is one of the earliest names to join the party with a hamstring injury. However, after staying parted from the on-field action for two weeks, the wide receiver has been a key piece in Joe Burrow’s arsenal this season.

Remember that 38-yard touchdown pass against the Titans last week that broke the 14-14 tie in the second half? Well, as it turned out, that TD from Higgins pretty much set the 37-27 win over the Tennessee team on Sunday. After returning from the injury, Higgins is stepping up and making crucial plays on the field. And that’s what Burrow and the HC are craving from the 25-year-old wideout. Once Again.

As the Bengals are marching towards the playoffs, Higgins’ ability to step up is exactly what the Cincinnati team’s fans need right now. Well, there is no wonder that Burrow’s the one who’ll make big plays, but stepping in to share the load up, the Bengal’s O-line becomes much harder to stop.
