Later, he was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and an additional count of misdemeanor battery. According to The Kansas City Star, the victim, who is also the restaurant owner, had to close her restaurant after a decline in sales, threats, and harassment. The preliminary hearing was scheduled for August, but the judge contracted Covid-19, and now the hearing has been postponed until October 24, 2023.
