Russell Wilson has had enough of backlash and defeats. This time, the Denver Broncos QB is showing respect to his rival team while maintaining a bit of sass. Wilson, who joined the Orange Crush team in 2022, hasn’t been able to showcase the strength and skills for which he was once renowned during his time with the Seattle Seahawks. After an average performance last year, they came into this season with high hopes of defeating their AFC rivals.

Russell Wilson’s masterplan to defeat Patrick Mahomes!

Russell Wilson had a challenging season. But again, with his time with the Seahawks, he possessed the skills to overcome his rivals. This time, he has a master plan to take on the formidable Chiefs and their QB, Patrick Mahomes with the Orange team. And why wouldn’t he? In their last encounter, Wilson was the one who emerged victorious against Mahomes and the Chiefs when he was with the Hawks. Wilson most recently in a press conference, unveiled his master plan, stating, “Well I think the best thing that we can do though is…we got to be physical, we got to come in the game.

He added, “We got to be able to capitalize on our opportunities, know when they do match up…It’s going to be a game that’s going to go back and forth and we got to be the ones that end up on top.” While showing respect to his rival team, Wilson also highlighted that he thinks the Chiefs are doing a lot of great things, especially the linebackers, and their defense. Wilson also acknowledged Chris Jones as “a talented player and one of the best to play the game.

Will Russell Wilson win the game against the Chiefs?

Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes are set to face each other for the second time in the NFL. Their first encounter occurred in 2018 when Wilson was with the Seattle Seahawks, and he defeated Mahomes and his Chiefs with a score of 38-31. This might suggest that, as Mahomes has never defeated Wilson in NFL history, it seems easy to predict the winner for this time. However, there’s a twist in the tale.

Since being traded to the Broncos in 2022, Wilson’s new team has unexpectedly struggled, despite the 34-year-old’s impressive passing yards records and other milestones. Additionally, the Chiefs have held a seven-year winning streak against the Broncos since 2016. Given these two factors, fans are speculating that the “Red Sea” has a high chance of winning again.

However, only time will reveal the outcome of the Chiefs vs. Broncos game scheduled for Thursday, October 12, at 8:15 p.m. ET at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
