The Dynasty: New England Patriots is all set on its way to ignite several fiery debates surrounding one of the most legendary franchises of the NFL, the Patriots with its to-be-released episode. Since the Apple TV+ series first aired, it ignited a controversy about the backgrounds of the Patriots, about Bill Belichick and Tom Brady to be precise: Did Tom Brady leave the Patriots because of Bill Belichick? The recent episode’s underlying revelation is enough to drive the fans berserk.

It’s official, Tom Brady did not leave the Patriots on a sweet note. The GOAT has admitted it himself in the Dynasty’s next episode. The speculations were lining the air, but until now they were just rumors. The trailer of the latest episode confirmed the rumors, rather the GOAT himself confirmed the rumors of Tom Brady leaving the franchise because of Coach Belichick. The moment was emotionally loaded for Brady, since he got teary-eyed while saying, “But I wasn’t going to sign another contract [in New England] even if I wanted to play until 50. Based on how things had gone, I wasn’t going to sign up for more of it.”

Tom Brady’s confession was all that the fans needed to confirm their speculations about the Patriots not treating Brady right since he was nearing the final years of his contract, per Brady’s words. However, Brady being Brady, had no direct complaints to make about Bill Belichick. “Me and coach Belichick, we did what we loved and competed for 20 years together,” Brady said.

Yet, the GOAT did not regretting a single step he took away from the Patriots after 2019, especially since he secured a two-year, $50 million contract with Tampa Bay Buccs. Belichick, too, gave a thumbs up to Brady’s decision of leaving Patriots. “Saying goodbye is always hard, but he made the right and the best decision,”  Bill Belichick said, finishing off his statement in the Dynasty. Well, Belichick’s words were enough to fuel the raging fire among the fan further since Brady has supported Belichick numerous times, especially when most of the football analysts were mercilessly accusing Belichick’s records being a boon from Brady.

Back when the rumors of Belichick leaving the Patriots were reaching an all-time high, accusations were being hurled at Belichick from all corners. At that time too, it was Tom Brady who became the armor to defend Belichick against everyone who was saying, ‘Brady gave you those records’.

“He was a great leader for the organization, and for all of the players who played for him,” Brady wrote, among several other things, expressing his forever gratitude towards the Patriots coach. When Belichick left that Patriots as well, it marked an end of an era, more for Brady than anyone else. Commemorating all the years they spent together, Brady wrote, “I could never have been the player I was without you Coach Belichick. I am forever grateful. And I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose next,” on social media.
