Rich Kleiman also revealed why this collab makes sense. “Boardroom has always been incredibly selective about the projects we choose to develop because we want to tell the stories that we know we can best tell,” he said. It is a no-nonsense approach, as it brings together Boardroom’s knack for marketing and sports-business storytelling with SMAC’s deep filmmaking chops. “These projects give us the opportunity to bring together Boardroom’s expertise and built-in marketing engine and SMAC’s incredible track record in filmmaking and TV will allow a best-in-class approach to creative development.”
Both brands already boast a track record of standout sports content, including Netflix’s Two Distant Strangers and Apple TV+’s Swagger for Boardroom, and Max’s BS High as well as Coach Prime for SMAC. Now, they are doubling down, as they aim to bring more unforgettable sports moments to the screen. Whether you are a die-hard NBA fan, an NFL history buff, or just here for the drama, it is clear this partnership is set to be epic.
