The Tom Brady roast has taken the internet by storm, with each clip being funnier than before. It is evident that all former NFL players and comedians had their gloves off, but the one who ended up impressing the most was Rob Gronkowski, who went off the script to take digs at his former teammate.

Rob Gronkowski was one of the stars of the comedy special. He was subjected to a lot of friendly fire when Belichick roasted him. Moreover, Gronk’s thrown glass which ended up injuring a member of the audience, wasn’t a good look at the Pats’ legend. Now, it is Bledsoe who ends up giving more dirt on his teammate by narrating a hilarious story.

Drew Bledsoe reveals Gronk’s impressive roast of Brady

On the May 6th episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd show, Drew Bledsoe came on to talk about all things related to the Tom Brady host. After all, he was a live witness to the jokes that took place and talked about how Gronk went off the script later, after the entire roast, which is downright hilarious.

He detailed how Gronk got too intoxicated and even went off the script midway. Bledsoe said, “Dude, Rob Gronowski is just Rob Gronowski. And that’s what he’s best at, is being Gronk and so I’m up there, looking at the teleprompter like dude this guy is so far off-script, I don’t know if he’s ever going to get back. And they weren’t faking it, man. He and Kevin Hart were drinking lots of tequila sitting up there last night man. It was funny.”

Thus, the comedy special continues to be a hit among all the fans who resonated with Bledsoe’s stance on how hysterical the entire event was. Moreover, Bledsoe didn’t exactly sit back and witness the whole segment, but instead, he also dished out a couple of curveballs at Brady, some of which he possibly couldn’t have expected.

With Tom Brady, his marriage and then the unfortunate divorce from Gisele has always been a sensitive issue. Though it was such a public spectacle back in 2022, the Patriots‘ legend has never really wanted to speak up about it openly, thus making it his weak spot for the roast. And that’s exactly what Bledsoe capitalized on with his jokes.

Bledsoe went after Brady’s glory and his failed marriage in the same sentence by saying, “Hey look, buddy, you have more rings than I do, but I’ve experienced a couple of things that you will never experience: the feeling of being the No. 1 overall draft pick in the NFL, and a 28th wedding anniversary. It was yesterday.”

The whole venue erupted with a burst of loud laughter as they couldn’t believe the ingenuity of Bledsoe’s joke while Brady couldn’t help but smile through the pain of the entire ordeal.
