When chaos calls, Antonio Brown is already dialing back. And this time, he’s crashed headfirst into the Jake Paul drama fresh off Paul’s controversial fight with Mike Tyson. AB, never one to sit on the sidelines, threw a digital grenade into the mix, firing up both fighters’ fans. Brown chimed in on Jake’s post, where Paul bragged, “More people watched an illegal stream of my fight with Mike Tyson than what the NBA playoffs averaged in 2024.” Naturally, AB couldn’t resist adding fuel to the fire.

In true AB fashion, he took to X (formerly Twitter) and clapped back: “You trying to fight retirement homes complaining about illegal streaming. Go ahead and box @LeVeonBell. CTESPN will put up $2 million… fight in Pittsburgh… make it a movie.”

Now, let’s not forget, that Le’Veon Bell had already thrown down the gauntlet on fight night, challenging Jake right after Tyson’s loss. I imagine we have not forgotten that he posted the photoshopped image with the caption: “Le’Veon Bell vs @jakepaul next.” And while it seemed like a little chat, it’s becoming a noise with increasing decibels daily. And Bell could not have asked anyone else than AB to keep it noisy.

And boy, Brown did not hold back on the punches. Yeah, in his rant to Jake Paul, calling Mike Tyson ‘retirement home’? OOF! Sure, Tyson’s age (58) has been the talk of the town ahead of the fight—some calling for respect in combat sports. But that’s where Brown’s message stick out. He made sure to hit Jake with the poking point to put a case for Bell and he did it perfectly.

Is there a chance for Le’Veon Bell to beat Jake Paul?

When you need a person to get on your opponent’s nerves, think no further than Antonio Brown. Man knows what pressure points to it. But in this case, he might just not be waffling. The idea of Le’Veon Bell vs. Jake Paul might shock some of you, but in actual truth, it’s not that rogue.

The former NFL star has dipped his cleats into the boxing ring more than once. With a record of 3-1-0, Bell’s got some respectable wins under his belt. He’s taken down Adrian Peterson in a viral knockout, outboxed YouTuber JMX, and most recently secured a unanimous decision win in May 2024.

What’s your perspective on:

Antonio Brown calls Jake Paul's fight 'retirement home' entertainment—disrespectful or brutally honest?

Have an interesting take?

At 6’1” with a 76-inch reach, Bell’s no slouch in boxing technicalities. You see, his all-pro years on the gridiron gave him enough grit. So much so that he has started an alternate career path post-retirement. But here’s the thing—Jake Paul isn’t exactly playing pickup games either.

Paul’s record? 12-1 with seven wins by knockout. Say what you will about The Problem Child, but he’s steadily improved. We are not saying he’s crème de la crème, but he has moved past the “YouTuber-turned-boxer” label to someone who can actually hang in the ring. Could Bell’s power and athleticism outmatch Paul’s experience (in the ring)? That’s a fight worth watching…
