Von Miller is not going to shy away from getting what, or in this case, who he wants. The two-time Super Bowl champion has not been silent about wanting Odell Beckham Jr. to the Buffalo Bills.

Miller has used social media to bring attention to the fact that OBJ would be perfect on the Bills squad. The linebacker also posted a picture of OBJ in a Bills jersey. Both Miller and Beckham contributed to the Los Angeles Rams’ success last year in winning the Super Bowl title.

Beckham Jr. is perhaps the most sought-after free agent this season. But, his pursuit of finding a new team has not been easy. The wide receiver was in rehab after suffering a second torn ACL.

While featuring on ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, Miller opened up to Shaquille O’Neal about why he wants OBJ to join the Buffalo Bills. Another interesting angle to this interaction was the fact that Shaq was roommates with OBJ’s father at Louisiana State University. Shaq is like an uncle to the wide receiver.

Miller said, “It’s a genuine need for Odell here and I can see him having success and I can see us having team success and I’m a huge believer that individual success is team success. So, I can see Odell doing some of the same things he did with LA with us.”

Speaking about the Bills squad Miller added, “[We’ve] got Josh Allen, one of the best quarterbacks in the league, if not the best, Steffon Diggs, Gabe Davis…we lost a couple of games but we’re in a great spot.”

The linebacker also stated that he would never lie to his friend, and said his relationship with the Bills and management was good.

Von Miller has been in the spotlight because of his campaigns for OBJ. When asked about how much longer he’ll stay in the league, the linebacker said that he would continue to take advantage of the opportunity he prayed for, for as long it is given.
