The Colorado Buffaloes received their final shock after their season-ending loss. Coach Prime’s team has had a rollercoaster season this year, but unfortunately, it comes to an end after a poor record. But while things couldn’t get any worse for the team, their newest announcement has made Deion Sanders’ reputation come to a sudden low.

Coach Prime came to the Buffaloes with a bang. When he arrived, he overloaded the Buffaloes squad with a staggering number of 57 transfers. And in an effort to justify the immense transfer, he said that “it had to be done” to change the course of last year’s record of 1-11. But with the exit of Antwann Hill Jr., Sanders might have to go back to the drawing board.

On November 26, Antwann Hill released a statement that announced his decommitment from the Buffaloes’ team. Hill signed on to the team in October and was a No. 3 quarterback in the class of 2025. And yet his value to the team couldn’t be capitalized on as he announced his exit shortly after a month.

Deion Sanders’ initial plan to sign new players seems to have backfired. Hill was an impressive athlete with an On3 NIL valuation of $269K. Additionally, Hill was supposed to be the apparent heir to Shedeur Sanders as the lead quarterback, but Sanders’ dreams were seen to have been dashed to the ground.

Deion Sanders’ plan to replace Shedeur Sanders with Antwann Hill comes to an end.

When he was signed in October, his reputation preceded him. Prior to signing with the Buffs, he had a total of 6,360 career passing yards with a 65.9 completion percentage. Coach Prime had a plan to replace his son Shedeur with Hill when he left, but the plan will have to be scrapped now.

When he was signed to the Buffs’, Hill said, “Coach [Sean] Lewis, Coach Prime, they really want me to take over once Shedeur leaves, so I mean, I’d be the next guy up that will be a highly ranked quarterback to get that position. And I feel like I’d be good learning from Shedeur.” The Colorado team has ended their season with an atrocious tally of 4-8, and thus, it makes sense as to why Hill would have to come to this conclusion. But the fans are still left wondering if Coach Prime will return to Colorado for another season after a humiliating end to his debut season.
