With the teaser of the EA Sports College Football ’25 doing rounds on the internet, there have been back-to-back speculations. One of the most prominent discussions revolves around who is going to be featured on the cover. According to journalist Kevin Borba, Coach Prime and his son Shedeur are the top contenders for the game covers. If they end up on the cover together, the duo is on their way to setting new records after 30 years.

Even though Coach Prime and Colorado have only been able to set a 4-0 record till now, the success of their football season can be measured on the basis of their record viewership, ticket sales, and recruitment drives. Thus, despite having a subpar season on the gridiron, the Buffs’ off-field performance makes them perfect for the cover.

As Borba sits down with his opinion in a YouTube video, he comes up with an interesting fact. According to his prediction, “Dating back to 1994 there has only been one cover where it’s been a player-coach combination, back when it was called Bill Walsh college football. And I think Deion Sanders, Coach Prime and Shedeur Sanders would be the perfect cover for the game this year.”

The choice of words in the caption hints at Sanders’ collaboration with the game. Adding a touch of suspense, there have been mockups and the custom-made jersey only revealed, “Yeah, it’s really happening.” Sanders’ endorsement bolsters his chances to enter into this new experience by featuring on the cover.
